Restview reference

Privacy policy

How Restview handles contact-form data and site access without analytics or tracking pixels.

Restview is designed to collect as little information as possible. The site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral profiles, or a personal-record search form. Normal server logs may temporarily record technical request information for security and operations.

Contact information

If you choose to contact Restview, the information you send is used to review and answer the message. Do not submit identity documents, vital records, obituary copies, court files, or sensitive information. The contact form opens your email client rather than storing a submission in a site database.

Technical data

A hosting provider can process an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, referrer, and browser information in ordinary security logs. Restview does not combine that data into advertising or personal-research profiles. Retention and access should be limited to operational security, debugging, and lawful obligations.

The static site does not provide user accounts, uploads, comments, saved searches, newsletters, or a database that accepts personal records. Avoid placing sensitive facts in a correction message. A source URL and description of the procedural issue are normally enough. No browser storage is intentionally used to build a profile.

Data minimization

The safest correction contains only the affected page, public source, and procedural explanation. Personal facts are unnecessary for maintaining this directory. Messages are not added to public pages or transformed into profiles, and Restview does not sell contact information.

External links

Restview links to government agencies, archives, libraries, courts, and described research platforms. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them. Before providing identity documents or payment, verify that you reached the official office page and use only the ordering route it publishes.

Your choices

You may browse without creating an account. You may request deletion of a message previously sent to Restview, subject to legal and operational retention obligations. For more context, read about Restview, verification, sources, the state directory, and contact.

Questions about this policy may be sent through the contact page without including any sensitive record or identifying document.
